Thank you for the write up. Billy. Do we all have to wear our patriotism on our sleeves and lapels to be a good American? And why do you always keep thanking "God," who I know you have never met. How about thanking a few good American men (politicians, thinkers, scientists, and public managers) who have made this country great by their labor of love??

God Almighty, Kush you left out the most important ones 22year veterans like myself and the soldiers now serving. And I am ready to meet God, our creator, I know God. I pray not for His judgment rather for His mercy. He will judge you and I. And if you don't believe that God loves you personally, ask me again, in say 5,000 years.
I do thank God ... Read Morefor giving your above mentioned folk the knowledge to serve My America. See this again. and read this time. http://ourbiz.us/my_america.htm I am going to pray to God's son Jesus, for you Kush. I have never met Him either. But I know Him very well.

God, Almighty Father in Heaven,

I just want to thank you for making me be an American.

It is such a nice day here in Gonzales, Louisiana. Molly and I have been out riding most of the day, she loves to go shopping at Pet Smart in Baton Rouge, Lowe's and Tractor Supply in Gonzales. I bought her $90 worth of goodies, oh yea, she picks out stuff she likes. By the way those stores welcomes Molly and she always get a dog biscuit when she enters.

That is just one of the many reasons I love America.

As you know Molly rides on the scooter with me, we ride all over town and I never think about a suicide bomber crashing into us or a drive by shooter in fact I really feel safe here in America and I thank George Bush for that.

I don't know if Obama has the guts to keep our nation safe, time will tell. If he don't well we Americans can always get another president. I love America.

While Molly and I were riding, I have had a minor electrical problem on the bike for some time and I really need to fix it permanently. Any way 3 drivers stopped and ask if I needed help. I assured them that I was AOK and they left. God, I love America.

fire trucks

There was a fire somewhere and all those fire trucks and sirens perked Molly up as she looked on. I thought, my goodness what a wonderful country America is, someone is in need of help and just look at all the trucks and policemen and firemen and medics rushing to give whoever needs it all the help they could possible need. Yes Sir, you have got to love Americans.

navy jets

We went cruising out into the country for about an hour down a fresh paved road, and suddenly the calmness was disturbed by 3 navy fighter jets and it seemed to me that they were up there just for my protection. Yes Mam, how can you not love America.

I stopped on that country road, to look at some of these magnificent trees that God created here in southern Louisiana and tried to think of all the things I take for granted here in my beloved America.

I just traveled here from North Carolina over 1000 miles and thinking about it, never once did I have a fear of anything, Molly was my only companion, I just took it for granted that if I broke down, some one would stop to help me, if I got sick a doctor would care for me and I just take it for granted that someone would care for Molly while I recovered.

In my journey today I must admit Molly draws a lot of attention riding that bike with me. We met Asians, Europeans, Indians, Africans, all wanting to take pictures of me and Molly on the bike. I thought to myself, I have no desire to go to Europe, Asia or anywhere else outside of my outstanding American life style.

doctors for peggy

I did go by the hospital to visit with Peggy for a while, her room was spotless, she has all these modern machines to monitor her health and the professional people that were looking in on her. God Almighty in heaven gave these doctors and nurses of all creed and color the knowledge to care for her. And I just took it for granted that they immigrated to the land of milk and honey they call America.

My Goodness, what a wonderful nation and citizens this place called America is.

As I think about it, I wonder what percent of the worlds population could not write a little old note like this and not be able to publish it. Something I just take for granted in my fantastic Nation that is under God, undivided providing liberty and justice and protection for all of us.

God, knows that I am glad to be an American, thank you Jesus.
